We received some excellent Christmas presents in the mail today from Matt and Camille. Hubby received a comic book with some very odd pictures in it. (I will leave it to your imagination) I got this really pretty gauzy shirt that fits! I must say my "girls" look really nice in it. teehee. And the best part is the presents for the girls...Bug got a sticker book, it's an activity book where you match the stickers to certain pages. Bug decided she would rather play dress up with the doll stickers she found in there. She is loving it. Goober got a book that comes with a dry erase marker so she is able to draw in her book. SHE LOVES IT! In fact when I told her it was time to put in away so we could go to Grandma's house tonight she freaked out. She had the biggest tantrum I have ever seen her have. I am talking I had to pry the pen out of her little hands, while avoiding getting ink all over my bed and our clothes. Then I had to get the book out of her hands. OY! I then picked her up to carry her out of the bedroom where she collapsed in my arms onto the ground and started crying so hard she was gagging herself. I then put up the baby gate, where she darted between my legs and tried to pry the gate down to get to the book that was sitting on my dresser. So, downstairs we went to get our shoes on where she bolted for the steps and I had to bust out her full name and threaten her with time out if she didn't listen...I counted to 3 and then put her in time out where she got up and ran to put her shoes on so she wouldn't be in trouble. She bawled and threw a fit for about 30 minutes, almost threw up a couple times from crying so hard....
So, what I am trying to say is...Thank you Matt and Camille for out presents so very cool that the baby would rather skip out in seeing Almighty Grandma to play with the present you got her. Hubby really likes my shirt and his book. Bug loves to play with the sticker book, not in the way intended, but that is okay because she is using her imagination. We love you both very much and cannot wait to get back at you when you have children...beware!

long blog
Merry post Christmas everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time but nothing really has happened that is exciting. So I am going to update on what has happened to us...
Bug lost Kasey her princess pink poodle. I had called my local Italian restaurant where we eat out quite a bit and asked them if we could buy the PPP that they had in their vending machine. Well, they called me back and were very happy to help out. The managed to talk the vending machine vendor into giving us the poodle. So I told Bug that the people at Geppettos had found Kasey and wanted to know if wanted her back. Needless to say, she did. So off we went. It was very hard thinking fast enough. Bug wanted to know why Kasey was so clean(they washed her), then she wanted to know why she had a tag on her(so the people knew Bug owned her) and finally why wasn't she wearing her dress(you took it off so mommy could wash it remember?) After carefully thinking about all these new ideas the Kasey was declared found. Now remember that we had torn apart the house looking for the old Kasey. I was watching the news when Bug rounds the corner with two Kaseys in her hand. OH CRAP!! Wow, Bug you found two Kaseys. Where was she? In here she replies holding up her Tinkerbell lunchbox...The one place I didn't look at all. So now we have two Kaseys, Geppettos made a mistake and we called to see if it was okay to keep the new one...it was. So now she is very happy because we have two Kaseys.
Bug is doing great in school. She has started to pick up new words as well. Like sitting at the dinner table and she lets us know she heard a new word. We are all thinking it is something bad..."What does respectable mean...or what does tenacious mean?" If I thought my children would be normal, well, that has gone out the window.
Goober has been doing well. Her speech this last month has just exploded. She is 2 1/2 now and is talking so well. She is a horrid little tattle tail though. Her favorite is when you scold her and put her in time out..."YOU TOLD ME!" She doesn't like to be scolded. Or if Hubby calls her a nutjob..."Mommy, Daddy called me a nut job!" She tells on her stuffed animals, her pets, her sister...the snow....the list goes on. I just love seeing her speech develop. The only thing we are having a problem with is her colors. The girl can point out triangles, squares, circles and ovals. She can even match colors but ask her what a color is...nope, nothing, maybe it might be green. Heck she even can sing twinkle twinkle little star and the ABC song. She can tell you what most letters and numbers are...Colors are nothing! It is very frustrating.
I am sure I have more but my alone time is over so I will remember to blog later this week.
