I took Bug and Goober to the Library. Goober goes along for the ride, in the stoller, not minding at all to just look. Bug has to be everywhere. So as I am looking for books on quilting, knitting that sort of thing, she is pointing to the spines on books and telling me its the most beautiful book she has ever seen. I look at the book, it's about Barbies. I agree with her knowing full well that I have a box of Barbies at home, that I am patiently waiting for her to start playing with. We finally mosey on over to the kid's section, after a ride in the elevator, to get some books on horses. I let Goober loose and she spends her time playing with the toys and running all over the rug, it has very bright colors and numbers on it. Bug engages the librarian in a conversation about footware.
Librarian: I have shoes just like yours(Crocs)
Bug: (big sigh) No you don't. My shoes are green, yours are blue. Also, you have diamond shaped holes and I have circles.(eye roll) So they are not like mine and they don't match. My sister has shoes just like mine except they are smaller.
Librarian: My mistake. You are very correct.
Bug: Yes.
The librarian looks up at me and asks how old Bug is. 4 in may. She then smiles big at me and says: YOU are in trouble. Really, like I needed to be told that.

Haha, that is definitely Bug. She is too smart, but then so are her parents. :)
Love and miss you!
